"Eurydice" is a comic book written by Lou Lubie, drawn by myself and published by Delcourt! It was a huge challenge and I'm very happy to finally be able to tell you about it !
"In a paper town in the middle of the desert, Orpheus is an idealistic young singer with almost divine talent.
Refusing to monetize his art, he lives off the hook of his sister Calliopé, an exceptional dancer who fights to save her profession.

Leader of the troupe of the nine Muses, Calliopé symbolizes the pressure of society on the women's bodies. As a dancer, she embodies a reflection on the productivity of artists and their replacement by an ever more efficient automation.
The Muses, of various physical and ethnic groups, represent art
traditional in all its diversity. The aim was also to
represent diverse female morphologies , textures of
varied hair and skin tone.
